Hikes for Tykes

Bring your little explorer as we journey through the woods! Each month we will visit a new property and have a new topic for your preschool aged explorer to learn about. All sessions include a take home activity (these take home packets cannot be guaranteed for those that sign up with less than 24 hours notice). Fall Session: Thursday, October 8, Colors in Nature at Ridge Hill Reserve – Cancelled Thursday, November 12, Rock Stars at Slocum’s River Reserve Thursday, December 10, The Red Fox at Destruction Brook Spring Session: Thursday, February 11, Shadows (or Snowflakes – weather dependent!) at Slocum’s River Reserve Thursday, March 11, Magical Creatures at Paskamansett Woods Thursday, April 8, Wind! at Ocean View Farm Thursday, May 13, Watch it Grow at Star of the Sea Reserve Thursday, June 10, Feathered Friends at Frank Knowles/Little River Reserve These walks are geared for 2-5 year olds. Each walk is $10 per family. There is a $5 discount when signing up for full fall session or $10 discount for full spring session. All walks will be approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes long.
