Beaches in Dartmouth, MA
5 listings across 2 villages
Dartmouth's shoreline runs from Padanaram Harbor around Smith Neck and Round Hill to the state park at Demarest Lloyd and the Slocum River. Some beaches are town-run with resident stickers, some belong to associations, and one is a state park with its own fee. Each listing says which, and the Beaches & Boating section covers tides, stickers and ramps.
Town park and sandy beach on the east side of Padanaram Harbor, open to everyone: bathhouse, softball field, picnic tables, horseshoe pits and a playground. Lifeguards and a gate from late June through Labor Day; $10 a day to park in summer, or free with a resident sticker.
Harbor-front town park on Gulf Road with a small sandy beach, gazebo, picnic area, volleyball and basketball courts and a playground, open to everyone year-round. The Ice Cream Bucket stand on site runs Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. $10 a day to park in summer, or free with a resident sticker. Summer concerts are held here.
The town's residents-only ocean beach on Buzzards Bay, looking out to the Elizabeth Islands beside the old Colonel Green estate. Bathhouse, lifeguards 9 to 5 in season, a lunch truck at midday, and a gate staffed mid-June through Labor Day. You need a Dartmouth beach sticker on the car; the beach itself stays open year-round, weather permitting.
